Michael enters the 7-Eleven on Christopher Place and orders a latte with extra whip cream and almond milk. He moves over to the pick-up counter to wait when he bumps into Sweetness. So much time had passed since they last saw each other. Sweetness was working as a social worker in Hell’s Kitchen and had just relocated from North Carolina when Michael and her first met five years ago. “It’s been so long since I have seen you Sweetness! How are you doing?” Sweetness replied “I’m blessed it’s so good to see you Michael”. Michael and Sweetness move to the side and begin catching up on the many missed occasions and events. Just as Michael is telling Sweetness about his recent marriage, Michael hears his name being called. He turns and walks toward the pick-up counter. He hands the female worker his receipt and takes his latte. Before walking away Michael notices that she has a striking image to his baby sister. He looks at her name tag and says Lien by the way that’s a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady and thanks her for her customer service.
